John Edward's show: "Crossing Over" on Sci-Fi

One of the reknown mediums of today is John Edward. His show is on the Scifi channel.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1858-1930), author of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, was a physician who participated in investigations of the paranormal, particularly spiritualism. Doyle and magician Harry Houdini were friends, but their opinions about psi phenomena were evidently diametrically opposed.

In 1917, Elsie Wright and her cousin Frances Griffiths, produced photographs, claiming that they had encountered little fairies. Doyle believed that the Cottingley Fairies of Yorkshire, England were real. In 1921, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote a book about the Cottingley fairies called "The Coming Of The Fairies". In 1983, both Elsie and Frances admitted that the photos were faked.

In mid-1926, Doyle attended a seance and was given a message via a medium: "Houdini is doomed, doomed, doomed...". Magician Harry Houdini died on Halloween of that same year of a ruptured appendix.
